Canon Electrical Business Machines (H.K.) Co., Ltd. provided sponsoring support for the 6th Hong Kong Secondary School Students Japanese Speech Contest, held at the University of Hong Kong on April 18.
The contest aims to promote Japanese language studies among Hong Kong high school students. Participants include Hong Kong finalists from the Japanese Speech Awards, an event held in Japan by the NPO Education Guardianship Group for international high school students.
On the day of the contest, students participated in the recitation (15) and speech (10) division respectively. Winner was announced in each division and presented with a Wordtank G55 English dictionary on behalf of Canon Electrical Business Machines (H.K.) by Executive Director Toshiaki Yagasaki.
