CEBM Perceiving Corporate Social Responsibility

Staff of CEBM participated in the eco-volunteer training camp (環保義工訓練營) organized by Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong (香港中華基督教青年會) on July 5, 2009. They learnt how to create eco solar car and visited small wind turbine and solar cell street lamp.

Managing Director Mr Masunaga shared his vision in the training ‘Canon Electronic Business Machines being an international enterprise, carries the obligation of promoting and participating in environmental and social activities. To delegate in the development of environmental business, CEBM also launches a series of ecologic calculators and forms an Environmental Department.’

More than 10 staffs participated in the training camp in order to enhance their environmental knowledge and becoming an eco–volunteer in future. They captured the significance of environment after participating in the activities and hoped to share the advantage of saving environment through the volunteer activities.
